The Yoga Trapeze, used in conjunction with mat yoga, offers a comprehensive fitness modality. It allows functional pushing, pulling, holding, twisting, bending, and grip strength! It builds a great deal of upper body and core strength. It also allows for deeper, passive backbends that can be held for longer periods of time. Yoga Trapeze inversions counteract gravity, creating space and length in the spine through simple, gentle, bodyweight traction.
